My husband and I did a workout contest back in 2007, which is probably the most motivated I have ever been but still I didn't give it my all. Now I am only two years away from 40 and I don't want to head into that decade with unhealthy habits and a lack of motivation. I want to be fit!!! I can honestly say that I have muscle but my diet is keeping me from showing that muscle off. I love to eat!
The part of my body that I hate the most are my legs and typically I don't like to show them off, or have pictures around as evidence.
I am going to begin really focusing my energy on lifting weights, doing cardio and watching what I eat. I know that there are going to be set backs but I can do this!!
My hope is that this blog will help me track my diet and exercise to keep me motivated. I also want to track my successes and failures- you can't move forward without knowing where you have been.
Tonight I am going to get my measurements and a photo of my current body- yikes!
